The blackletter "Old English D" has represented the City of Detroit since the late 19th Century and remains a classic, old-school symbol of the Motor City to this day.
Our version may be the oldest-school of them all, dating to an authentic design first published by blackletter typography mastermind Wolfgang Hopyl in 1514.
